House RM

House RM is the former studio of Constanze Ladner Interior, located in the manor house of a late-19th-century mill in Alzey, Rheinhessen. After the first floor became vacant, Ladner completely reconfigured the space, transforming it into an open studio, fitness area, and guest room beneath the newly insulated roof. The renovation preserved the building’s character while introducing a calm, warm grey palette across floors, walls, and ceilings. Exposed beams were restored, custom wooden furniture was crafted to her designs, and natural materials such as wood and linen add warmth and softness. Large dormer windows open views toward vineyards and the surrounding garden, creating a serene and light-filled workspace.
